Over the past couple of months, I have gotten terribly behind on posting. However, that does not mean nothing has been happening here at HareBrainFarms.
Shortly after my last post in October, things started getting a little hectic. Between building fence, cutting firewood, storm damage and holiday preparation (and about a thousand other things), there just hasn't been much time for the computer. It doesn't help that my computer is now at my sister's house until I can get solar panels set up (long story that will need its own post).
Please bear with me, and I will be writing some catch up posts very soon. Thanks for your patience.
Moving toward an Earth based, self-sufficient, homesteading lifestyle, through gardening, raising small livestock and canning, preserving and storing the food produced, while shifting toward off-grid living using people powered tools and greater simplicity. This lifestyle is being enhanced by the use of old fashioned skills such as blacksmithing and wood working, while incorporating modern techniques and alternative building materials.
